Cyber Research and Training Institute is a self-funded private institute formed in the year 2000 to uphold active involvement in software improvement and the biotechnology industry. The institute is affiliated with MAKAUT and the University of Burdwan with UGC approval.

The institute provides bachelor level course in the stream of business administration, computer application and biotechnology. The courses offered here are BBA, BCA and B.Sc. Biotechnology for which basic eligibility is 10+2 in applicable discipline.

Each course is for three years, and the candidates are selected for admission based on marks scored in the entrance exams.
