Calcutta Business School, located in West Bengal Kolkata, started in 1920. However, the institute changed its name in 2008 and is affiliated with deemed University and approved by UGC and All India Council for Technological Education.

 Calcutta School of Business Scholarships 

CBS institute offers Scholarships based on the students' hard work and efforts. Candidates have rewarded Rs 25,000/- for the first or Second rank students in the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd semesters. The institute will select four applicants during PGDM admission for Tuition Fees Waiver. Students avail scholarships if they have passed Undergraduate with 75% and scored 85% and above in CAT/XAT. Students should note that Scholarships will continue based on their performance every year at the institute.

Calcutta School of Business Hostel Details 

CBS provides a hostel with recreational facilities like Spacious rooms, a dining hall, an internet connection, laundry, and many more. The hostels accommodate 120 students at present, and after the extension of the hostels, it may accommodate nearly 300 students. Total fees will be around Rs 60,000/- per year.

Outlook I-CARE placed CBS seventh among the top private business schools in the Eastern Zone. The college provides PGDM (equivalent to MBA) programs in Human Resource Management, Business Analytics, Marketing, Operations, and Finance. Admission is based on the MAT, GMAT, CAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, or JEMAT. Calcutta Business School MBA Fees is INR 3.73 Lakhs (1st Year Fees). CBS Hostel Fee is INR 60 k. This B School offers performance-based scholarships. Tuition Waiver Program is based on performance. The highest student in each term will have 25% of their tuition expenses waived. 15% tuition fee waiver for second place in each term.

Fees structure in our Calcutta Business School will not be affordable and moreover for the Post-graduation courses the fee will be too high. I did my masters here in post-graduation diploma in management which is 2 years management course equivalent to MBA. Our college was also officially accredited by NBA for two years so during that time some students graduate then they will get NBA accredited certificate. Fee is so expensive that I think poor cannot study at all in case they can’t to take admission here for PGDM they study through educational loan offered by some finance agencies and banks. Calcutta Business School PGDM fee structure is 9 lacs considering all full course expenses.

Scholarships are provided for the academically meritorious students and also offer financial assistance based on the grades of the students. Calcutta Business School fee structure for the PGDM course is INR 685,000 as total fees.

Calcutta Business School Kolkata Selection Process:

  • Candidate should attain minimum 50% in graduation and a valid score in entrance examination to get CBS Kolkata admission.
  • Shortlisted candidates for CBS Kolkata admission will be called by the institute for personal interview based on marks obtained in graduation and entrance exam.
  • Admission will be done on the basis of academic credentials, entrance exam and also performance in personal interview conducted by CBS Kolkata admission.
