Bundelkhand Institute of Engineering & Technology is a UP government-funded and autonomous college of Engineering. The institute was founded in 1986 and affiliated with Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University. Programs offered are B.Tech, M.Tech, and MBA in many various specializations, and the seats will be offered for these courses based on the entrance exams. All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) approved all the courses offered.

B.Tech course is offered in seven specializations, the 4 years duration course. The B.Tech course's yearly intake is 60 seats, which is set as per the norms. BIET, Jhansi fee will include various parameters such as tuition, recreation, medical, identity card, aid, placement, etc. The price in the 1st year will be Rs. 61,800, and the 2nd onwards cost will be Rs. 55,800 per annum.

The M.Tech course intake will be 18 seats, which are as per the state government's prescribed norms. The M.Tech fee structure in BIET, Jhansi, will be Rs. 59,300, which includes the admission fee to be paid while taking admission. The 2nd year fee will be Rs. 53,330, so the total fee will be Rs. 112,630. All students must pay university enrollment fees, insurance, and development fees during registration.

The fee structure for MBA to be paid in the 2nd year will be Rs. 65,800, including Rs. 50,000 as tuition fee, Rs. 3000 as internet charges, library fee of 600, and other fees. BIET, Jhansi is a fully residential college consisting of two girls' hostels and 4 boy hostels, which can accommodate over 1500 students. Hostel facilities can opt only if the students want; it is a student’s option. There are different rooms, such as Single, double, and triple seats, with other fee structures. The hostel is attached to a mess facility and is supervised by a supervisor.
