Bannari Amman Institute of Technology is commonly known as BIT. It is a Self-financing, Autonomous Engineering College where AICTE, New Delhi, is affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. This academic institute offers courses in science, management, and engineerings such as B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, M.Tech, and Ph.D. in many specializations. In the Smart India Hackathon hardware Competition in 2019, BITians won four prizes. In NIRF, BIT has taken 76th rank by MHRD India Ranking for 2018. Among the top Best Private Engineering Colleges in India out of 165, this college is ranked 46th in 2018 by The India Today Survey.

  • Bannari Amman Institute of Technology scholarships for the student's family whose annual income will be less than INR 1.08 lakhs from all the sources will be provided as Post Matric scholarships. Minority scholarships shall be offered for candidates whose family income will be INR 2 lakhs annually.
  • The OBC category and general students must have obtained a minimum of 55% aggregate in the qualifying examination. Similarly, for those SC/ST students, the minimum aggregate must be 50% in the qualifying examination.
  • Those candidates who shall get admission in professional courses based on competitive exams or without any examination score are eligible to get Bannari Amman Institute of Technology scholarships.
  • Students awarded scholarships in the previous year can apply for renewal only, having obtained at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination.

Candidates can choose from single, double, and four-seater rooms for male and female candidates. Based on the candidates' rooms, the fee might differ. Bannari Amman Institute of Technology hostel fee does not include mess, which has to be paid separately.

Bannari Amman Institute of Technology's fee structure for the B-Tech program is INR 75000 per annum, or INR 3 lakhs in total.

The B.Tech course fee at Bannari Amman Institute of Technology Erode is around INR 210000/- for the entire course. The hostel fee at this institute is around INR 36000/- for one year.

Candidates admitted through TNEA counselling Bannari Amman Institute of Technology Erode fee structure of B.Tech will be up to INR 2.1 lac approx. In the 1st year candidates will pay around INR 60,000 constituting tuition fee as well other fees while from 2nd year to 4th year it is INR 50,000 per annum.

Admission process and fee structure:-

  • Candidate must have passed HSC or equivalent qualifying examination with the average percentage of marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • Selection criteria: Based on the score obtained in TNEA exam and On the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.
  • The fee structure will be around INR 2.02lakhs for 4years.
