Community Institute of Management Studies Course Admission
Before enrolling for admission, candidates must take entrance tests at the national level. You have two options for submitting your application: online or offline. Interview results will determine the final choice.
Eligibility
- Candidates for UG programs (BBA, BCA, B Com) must receive 45% in relevant subjects from a recognized board in their 10+2.
- The prerequisite for admission to the PG programs (MBA, MCA) is a bachelor's degree in any field. Throughout the whole graduating process, they must have a minimum cumulative grade of 50%.
- Students in their last year may also apply to the program.
- To be qualified for the Community Institute of Management Studies MBA program, you must have a valid score on any one of the following tests: CAT, XAT, MAT, GMAT, KPGCET, ATMA, KMAT, or CMAT.
- In the case of the government quota, the applicants must qualify in PGCET with valid scores.
Selection Criteria
- Candidates who make the shortlist based on their provided academic profile will be invited to the interview stages.
- Bangalore is where the interview will take place. Those who are unable to go to Bangalore may ask to be interviewed over the phone.
- Following the interview rounds, a set of criteria will be taken into consideration by the admission panel in order to determine the merit list of eligible applicants.
- Candidates who are chosen will get a selection certificate in the mail or via email. Additionally, they will be informed about their selection status.

- Complete the form to the best of your ability, then print it out for future use.
- Candidates may apply in person by visiting the school with the necessary paperwork.
- The applicant must show up for the interview following the submission of the application on or before the deadline.
- The candidates will get an email with the merit list of the nominated candidates, which is determined by entrance exam scores, interviews, and qualifying exam.
- To secure a place, selected candidates would need to submit a registration fee of INR 30,000.
- Applicants may show up for the in-person interview. Students may choose to participate in a telephone interview if they are unable to attend a personal interview in Bangalore. The candidates will be notified of the scheduled date of the telephone interview.

Students seeking admission under the quota must satisfy the CIMS cutoff. Seat allotment will be done through KEA Counselling.
