The College of Agriculture and Allied Sciences offers programs in disciplines like Agriculture and Animal Husbandry. The programs imparted under the College of Agriculture are B.Sc in Agriculture, having specialized study in Agronomy, AHDS, Agri Botany, Agri Economics, Agri Engineering, Agri Entomology, Horticulture, Agri Metrology, Agri Pathology, and Soil Science & Agrichemistry. The intake of the B.Sc. in Agriculture course is 180 seats as accepted by the institute, and the duration of the course completion will be four years.

The B.Sc. in Animal Husbandry and Dairying is offered under the Animal Husbandry department with various sub-specializations such as Agronomy, Livestock production & Management & Dairy Science, Agri Economics Agro extension, Animal Physiology & Biochemistry, Animal Entomology, Animal Pharmacology, and Animal Reproduction. The total intake of the B.Sc. in Animal Husbandry would be 24 seats as per the prescribed norms, and the duration of the course will be four years.

College of Agriculture has BBA as a management course under the agricultural department having sub-streams such as Agri Economics, Agri-Business Management, Agri Entomology, Horticulture, Agronomy, Biotechnology, Computer, and Statistics. The BBA in Agriculture has a total intake of 30 seats and is a full-time program of 4 years duration.

College of Agriculture and Allied Sciences admission will be conducted through regular CAP courses like B.Sc. in Agriculture, B.Sc. in Animal Husbandry, and BBA in Agriculture. All the admission process and intake will be as per the norms described by the affiliating university, namely Mahatma Phule Agriculture University, Rahuri.

  • Admission to the college of agriculture for a B.Sc. in Agriculture and Animal Husbandry is directly based on the aggregate secured by candidates in the previous qualifying examination and entrance exam. The minimum eligibility for B.Sc. in Agri. Regular will be 12th passed in science stream having subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Similarly, International level B.Sc. Agri. We will also need the same eligibility criteria.
  • The government will prepare the merit list based on the marks obtained by candidates CET for seeking admission in this college. There are two ways to seek admission to the college of Agriculture Baramati through the entrance or the other through management quota. Students can get admission for a B.Sc. course through management quota also.
  • Eligibility for the BBA in Agriculture will be 12th passed in science having some mandatory subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Physics, Chemistry of Mathematics.
  • The application process in the COA Baramati will be offline. The application forms must be obtained from the admission office at the institute, and applicants must duly fill them and submit them directly at the office itself.

B.Sc. is a 4 years program at CAAS. The academic course fee for the B.Sc. program is INR 2.04 lakhs per year. In total, it might cost INR 8.16 lakhs approximately.

The B.Sc. program at the College of Agriculture and Allied Sciences is offered for students who have completed their 10+2 board exams with a minimum of 50% in the science stream or its equivalence.

The college's merit list serves as the only basis for B.Sc. admissions to CAAS Pune. 70% of the total marks are calculated in the PCM/ PCB, and the remaining 30% from other weightage.
