CMS College of Engineering and Technology Admission
CMS College offers admission to the B Tech at the UG level and M Tech at the PG level. AICTE approves both the courses. Admission to the UG or PG at CMS College is based on academic merit and entrance exam marks. Whereas, selection criteria is based on a counselling session. B Tech course is offered in five branches. The annual intake for B Tech is 60 seats per branch. M Tech is available in two streams with an annual intake of 24 seats.
- B Tech admission in CMS College Coimbatore is given based on the candidate's TNEA Rank. Additionally, candidates must score at least 50% average marks in the 12th science stream.
- To secure admission for B Tech in CMSCET, applicants have to register online for TNEA based on their 12th percentage. The TNEA application fees cost INR 500.
- Later, Anna University will publish the TNEA rank list or merit list on its website. Aspirants whose names enlisted in the list can participate in TNEA Counselling for the seat allocation procedure
- Students TNEA Rank must be equal to the CMS College TNEA Cut off Eligibility. Then, students can choose CMSCET as a preference while filling the option entry form. Based on preference and TNEA rank, seat allocation takes place.
- Applicants willing to apply for M Tech admission in CMS College shall have done B Tech in relevant discipline with 55% marks.
- Selection for the M Tech course depends on the TANCET score. Students with valid GATE scores are also eligible to apply.
- Students who clear TANCET must appear for TANCA Counselling. Anna University will conduct the counselling in offline mode
CMS College of Engineering and Technology Fees Structure
CMS College B Tech fees structure expenses around INR 60k for the first year. From the second year onwards students can pay INR 55k. Thus, the total fee cost approx. INR 2.2 Lakhs.
M Tech course fees in CMS College charge INR 60k for the first year. Whereas, the second year fees cost INR 55k.
