The MGR Educational Society sponsors the CMR College of Engineering & Technology (CMRCET). The College is located on the Hyderabad - Nagpur National Highway (Medchal Road), Telangana, India, 20 km from Secunderabad Train Station. The campus is on 10 acres of a serene, lush green, and pollution-free environment.

CMR College of Engineering and Technology Courses Admissions
The admissions process begins with the candidate applying. It is an online process and can be completed on the official website. 70% of seats are reserved for Convenor Quota, for which admissions are solely based on entrance test merit followed by counselling.
Students wishing to be admitted under this quota must satisfy the CMR College Hyderabad Cutoff. The remaining 30% of seats are reserved for Management quota, commonly known as category B Seats.
Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech
- Applicants for admission to the full-time B.Tech program the College provides should have passed the intermediate examination with physics, chemistry, and math as optional courses.
- Applicants for the B.Tech program should have achieved success in the Telangana government's TS-EAMCET exam.
- The 3-hour EAMCET exam comprises 90 questions that cover every aspect of engineering-related material.
Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech
- Applicants for admission to the M.Tech program provided by CMRCET should hold a Bachelor's degree in the relevant stream from any accredited university.
- A valid GATE score is also required for applicants to the M.Tech program.
Details About Sponsored Candidates for M.Tech
- There should be five sponsored candidates in each department and two for each specialism.
- Applicants must have worked as permanent employees for the sponsoring organization for at least two years after earning the required degree.
- The government, a recognized private organization, or a public-sector undertaking should have formed the sponsoring agency.
Eligibility Criteria for MBA
- Applicants must have succeeded in the Telangana State Council of Higher Education's ICET.
- Candidates are only admitted based on their merit in the ICET score.
- Depending on the students' ICET scores, the convenor permits a 70% student intake for the MBA program.
- The college administration admits the remaining 30% of students under the NRI and management quotas.
