The CIT Tumkur was established in 2001 with the primary objective of imparting advanced technical education. Sri Channabasaveshwara Swamy Rural Education Society (CRED Society) administers the college. It is affiliated with VTU and is approved by AICTE. Besides, recognized by Karnataka Government.
