Chandigarh University IDOL Eligibility/ Selection Criteria
B.Sc. / BA: Admission seekers willing to apply for Distance BSc or BA course in CU IDOL shall have cleared 12th or equivalent in any stream. Selection is based on merit in 10+2.
BBA / B.Com: Candidates who have passed the 12th commerce stream are eligible to apply for BBA or B.Com at CU IDOL.
BCA: Students who have passed 12th/ HSC in the science stream can seek admission for BCA at CU IDOL. They must have studied Mathematics as the main subject at the 12th level.
MBA: Students who have obtained a bachelor's degree in any discipline can avail of Distance MBA admission at CU IDOL. The selection criteria are based on the aggregate marks obtained in UG. Candidates who have done professional courses like ICWA or CA are also eligible to apply.
( Here, students get an opportunity to study the PG diploma program from CU only after completing the MBA Two-semesters, and it is applicable only for the learners who wish to discontinue the MBA)
MCA: Candidates who have possessed a UG degree BCA with required aggregate marks can apply for the MCA distance course at CU IDOL.
MA / M.Com: Graduates who possess a BA or B.Com with average marks can apply for MA or M.Com admission to CU IDOL.

Chandigarh University IDOL Admission / Application Process
CU IDOL will offer admission to the distance course based on qualifying exam marks. It is conducted both online and through the application process. Applicants have to purchase the university head office or regional admission office prospects for the offline. Students who meet the eligibility norms can secure admission to Chandigarh University IDOL by filling out the application form.
How to apply online?
- First, visit the official website of CU IDOL.
- On the homepage, click on the link "Register Today". Fill in the details such as Full name, Email ID, Mobile Number, Course Name, and Date of Birth. After filling it out, click on the option "Register Now."
- After successful registration, You have to log in by using the generated credentials (Login ID and password received through Email or SMS)
- Upon successful login, the page will redirect to the application form portal.
- Then, click on the link "Buy Now" and make the payment to purchase application prospects. (CU IDOL application form fees cost INR 500)
- Upon successful payment, You can download the application prospects
- Then, you can fill in the necessary details in the application form. You need to fill in the details Personal Information, Contact details, and academic qualification details
- After filling in the details, you must pay the desired program fees online.
- After payment, the document upload link gets activated. You have to upload the scanned images of the necessary documents in a specified guideline.
