Centre for Management studies (CMS) - JIS College of Engineering was established in the year 2002 and is considered to be the most famous management college in the eastern part of India. CMS- JIS College of Engineering was started by JIS Educational Initiatives. CMS- JIS College of Engineering offers under graduation and post-graduation courses in the field of Management studies. The undergraduate courses are all affiliated to MAKAUT and PG courses are autonomous in MAKAUT. All the courses have been recognized by UGC, NAAC and AICTE.
- CMS- JIS College of Engineering provides courses like BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) at under graduate level and MBA (Masters of Business Administration) at post-graduation course in streams like Marketing, finance, Human Resources and system.
- For CMS- JIS College of Engineering admissions, the marks secured in the entrance exam of national level and state level will be considered for MBA. The entrance exams accepted for MBA in CMS- JIS College of Engineering is MAT, CMAT and WBJEMAT.
- CMS- JIS College of Engineering admissions to BBA will be based on the merit. The aggregate obtained in HSC will be considered. The minimum qualification needed for BBA admission is 10+2.
