Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology (CIPET) is a private institute that was started to satisfy industries' needs in the year 1984. The institute is recognized by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), the Government of India, and the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), accredited by National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Technologies (NABL), and is approved by AICTE.
