Goa is just not famous for its churches and beaches for a Christian College for women. Carmel College is committed to working with donors, alumni, government, industry, and the extensive community to make a marked change. They teach us how to work with local groups and organizations through a range of cultural and sporting programs.
- The college is a NAAC accredited institution been awarded an A grade. It constitutes of 3 streams Arts, Commerce, and Science. The institute believes that leadership is a culture, not a person.
- They advance gender fairness by nurturing women in leadership and promoting women’s education. Their errand is to monitor policies and procedures, fortifying that the right activities are rewarded and valued.
- They act with professionalism and integrity also, and they welcome new ideas from students and staff.
PLACEMENTS:
There is ‘n’ number of companies connecting and visiting the college for placements, and one among them is ICICI Bank, the 2nd largest bank in India.

HOSTELS:
There are hostel facilities with well-furnished/ventilated rooms for students who wish to stay in hostels. The building constitutes 40 rooms spread over three floors, and it can accommodate 100 students on sharing bias.
SCHOLARSHIPS AND FREESHIPS:
There are several scholarships available for deserving students.
- To the children of secondary school teachers, there is a merit scholarship.
- E.B.C scholarships for the students who secure at least 45% in their last final exam.
- Those students whose parent's annual income does not exceed Rs.18 000/- per annum.
To the physically disabled, there are freeships.
