Calcutta Business School (CBS) was established in 2008. It is one of the leading management schools. It is a self-contained institute that offers four undergraduate, graduate, and certification programs in management disciplines. CBS was established under the aegis of the Shikshana Foundation as an autonomous college. It has been governed by a board consisting of eminent industrialists and directors of IIMs. The advisory board of CBS comprises highly renowned academicians and business leaders. Calcutta Business School Faculties members have distinguished academic backgrounds; they have obtained degrees from top-ranked institutions such as IIMs, IITs, Wharton School, John Hopkins, etc.
Calcutta Business School courses include a two-year, fully residential Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) program. It is available in eight specializations approved by the AICTE. CBS's other courses are BBA in Business Analytics, Executive PGDM, and Ex-PGPM. In addition, CBS offers certification courses in two specialties. MAT, GMAT, CAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, or JEMAT scores are used to determine Calcutta Business School Admission to the PGDM. At the same time, admission to the BBA is based on 10+2 academic merit.

Calcutta Business School PGDM Admission
Admission at Calcutta Business School depends on the performance in the entrance test followed by GD and PI. Applicants need to fill all the eligibility requirements. Check out the admission criteria of CBS:
Applicants applying for Calcutta Business School PGDM Admission must qualify for competitive entrance tests such as MAT, GMAT, CAT, XAT, CMAT, JEMAT, or equivalent. At first, the admission authority will shortlist the candidates based on the entrance test percentile. Candidates must score equivalent to the Calcutta Business School Cut off. The final selection of the students will be based on past academic records, work experience, entrance tests, GD/PI, and Psychometric tests. Students applying for the Calcutta Business School Executive MBA equivalent PGDM degree must have three years of experience.
Calcutta Business School BBA Admission
CBS offers a full-time BBA in Business Analytics. Applicants who have qualified in the 10+2 exam with a least 50% marks can apply for Calcutta Business School BBA. The selection of the aspirants solely depends on their academic merit.
Calcutta Business School Application Process
- Step 1: Go to the official website of CBS.
- Step 2: Select the 'Admission' link tab at the top of the page.
- Step 3: Select "Click to Apply" from the drop-down menu.
- Step 4: To sign in, complete all the required fields and click 'Next.'
- Step 5: The applicant will be given a unique application number and a password.
- Step 6: Enter your ID and password to access your account.
- Step 7: Fill out all necessary academic information in the Calcutta Business School Application Form. Proceed to payment after uploading a copy of the scanned photo (480x640 pixels).
- Step 8: Use a debit/credit card or Net Banking to pay the Rs. 1000 application cost plus a convenience charge of Rs. 25.
