Bishop Heber College (BHC), Tiruchirappalli, is the oldest minority educational institution established in 1966 by Dr. Solomon Doraisawmy, a Bishop in the Tiruchirappalli - Thanjavur Diocese of the Church of South India. In 1873, The Heber Memorial School was raised to a Second Grade College, and in 1882 it became a First Grade College. At the time, it was called SPG College. The UGC granted Bishop Heber College autonomous status during the 2004-2005 academic year. NAAC accredits the college with an “A” Grade.
Currently, BHC offers 13 UG Courses, 18 PG Courses, 4 PG Diploma Courses, and 3 Diplomas. Besides, a Research program is available for Ph.D. and M.Phil. The College started providing courses in a self-financing stream in 1985. Bishop College has already established a great reputation for its high academic standards and attracts candidates from India and abroad. BHC also runs the accredited study center of IGNOU.
Bishop Heber College Trichy offers its students a wide range of facilities, including Wi-Fi access, anytime and anywhere. A student counselor works for the student to discuss the nutritional, group, and referral issues. Students are stimulated to meet with the counselor to redress psychological, emotional, academic, and adjustment problems. The health care facilities are also well-kept, with nursing staff available every day and doctors on alternate days. There is also an ATM and a bank. There is a cricket ground, a football field, badminton, volleyball, basketball, and a game of tennis at the Campus Bishop Heber College.

Bishop Heber College Admission Process
Bishop Heber College admission to the UG courses depends on academic merit, calculated based on marks secured in the 12th class. The prospective students are required to fill out the Bishop Heber College application form. The form can be availed from the college administrative office or online from the bhc.edu login.
The cost for both UG and PG course application forms is Rs 200. When shortlisted on merit, students are expected to pay the BHC tuition fees for the selected course. While, the payment must be done with in a stipulated time.

Bishop Heber College Placement and Training Division makes sure students get placement opportunities in their desired domain. The placement process consists of a seven-step approach that starts with the briefing of the key competencies of the students. To help students learn more about their pitfalls, the training part includes extensive interviews, 100 hours of structured training, and group discussions. The last step in the placement process is to have a celebration with classmates and family.

I am studying MBA Course in Bishop Heber College and now am in final year. I got here admission on the basis of TANCET score.
