The Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University is commonly referred to as BVDU. It was established in 1964 to provide quality higher education. Today, the BVP Pune comprises 36 institutions offering courses in various disciplines at the UG, PG, and doctoral levels. BVDU Pune is one of the largest deemed universities in India, with over 2,00,000 students enrolled across its various campuses.
The Bharati Vidyapeeth University has consistently ranked amongst the top 10 universities in India by several reputed rating agencies. BVP is also one of the few deemed universities accredited by the NAAC with an 'A+' grade. Bharati Vidyapeeth Pune is AICTE-approved. The ranking of BVDU Pune has been improving in recent years. The NIRF ranking is 64th among India's institutions.

Bhartiya Vidyapeeth Course Admission

- For B Tech admission, students need to clear the entrance test conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth, commonly known as BVP CET. (Bharati Vidyapeeth Entrance Exam)
- Students with valid scores either in JEE Main or MHT CET are also eligible to apply. Such students will be exempted from BVP CET.
- The BVP Pune form for B Tech is available on the website. BVP Pune B Tech fees for registration are INR 1000.
- Candidates will be selected for admission to the BBA BVP Pune program based on their concert in the entry test followed by an interview round.
- The candidates for Bharati Vidyapeeth MBA admission will be selected based on marks secured in the B-MAT entrance examination, followed by a group discussion and personal interview.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for GD and PI rounds based on their entrance exam scores. The merit list will be set based on marks obtained in the entrance exam, GD, and PI rounds.
