The Bapatla Engineering College (BEC) Guntur was established in 1981 with a vision of imparting quality education. It is an independent institution operating under the control of the Bapatla Education Society. UGC has granted BEC Bapatla the title of the autonomous institution. The college is allied with Acharya Nagarjuna University. Besides, AICTE, NBA, and NAAC grant approval and accreditation to Bapatla College. MHRD and the World Bank have chosen BEC Guntur as a Network Institute for the Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP).
Bapatla Engineering College Courses are offered at UG and PG levels. B Tech, M Tech, MSc, and MCA are the available courses. In addition, the college offers a Diploma. Students must meet the qualifying requirements to be admitted to the BEC Guntur courses. Students for UG courses should have scored at least the minimum qualifying marks in an intermediate exam. For the PG programs, students must have earned a minimum of 50% in the field. Bapatla Engineering College Fees structure varies according to the courses.
Bapatla Engineering College Course admission are classified into two categories. 70% of seats are filled under Convenor Quota/Category A through centralized counseling administrated by AP Government. A student's entrance test rank should be within the cutoff norms to qualify for Category A Seats. The remaining 15% of seats are reserved for Bapatla Engineering College Management Quota. Students whose rank is not up to standards can opt for management seats. However, Bapatla Engineering College Donation fees will be expensive compared to the Category A fees.
Admission to the B Tech is based on AP EAMCET scores. Admission to the Bapatla Engineering College For MCA is based on AP ICET scores. AP PGECET scores determine admission to the M Tech programs. It should be noted that undergraduates who have passed the GATE exam are excluded from taking the entrance exam, and separate cutoffs are announced for them. Bapatla Engineering College Diploma Courses are available in certain streams. Students who have qualified for AP POLYCET Examination will be eligible to enroll.
