BIMHRD, or the Balaji Institute of Management Human Resource Development, is a constituent college of Sri Balaji University in Pune (SBU). The institution was founded in 2004 and is recognized by the AICTE. It is housed in the Brahma Estate building in Kondwa Kund, Pune. The Indian Centre for Management and Human Resource Development (ICMHRD) was the Institute's former name, which was changed to BIMHRD in 2005.
BIMHRD Pune offers admission to the AICTE-approved MBA in 8 specializations. Entrance Test scores such as CAT, MAH CET, MAT or CMAT are used to determine admission to the Balaji College MBA. Since the BIMHRD is the component unit of Balaji University, thus it conducts a common application process for all its constituent institutes. BIMHRD Course Admission
BIMHRD offers a two-year full-time MBA programme in management. It helps students understand the most recent developments in management theory, broadens their perspectives, introduces them to new problem-solving methods, and develops their business acumen. Admission to the MBA programme is based on an entrance test and according to the guidelines specified by Sri Balaji University.
BIMHRD MBA Eligibility
- Candidates must verify their eligibility before applying for Balaji College Pune MBA admission
- Obtaining a degree from an accredited university with a minimum GPA of 50% (45% for those in the reserved group).
- Candidates in their final year are also eligible to apply for admission.
- In addition, candidates must pass any entrance exam such as CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAH CET and GMAT.
Selection Process
- Online submission of the standard application form for all four management programmes at Sri Balaji University in Pune is possible with BIMHRD Application Fees of INR 1000. If a student chooses to take the SBEST exam, there is an extra price of INR 490. However, candidates with valid CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, or MAH-CET scores are not required to take the SBEST.
- A registration number is issued after the application money has been successfully paid. In addition, the following admissions procedures, such as the GD, PI, and WAT, will be announced via the student's dashboard or email.
- BIMHRD doesn't have particular cutoff criteria. However, the entrance test scores it has 35% weightage while creating the merit list.
BIMHRD Selection Parameters
- Written Interview: We accept results from management examination tests such as the CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, and MAH-CET. Any student who has taken the management examination test tests may apply for MBA, as the results are given to the students.
- Group Conversations: Experts will invite candidates who meet the qualitative standards to the group discussions. Each group will do this for between 30 and 45 minutes. Role-playing, case studies, impromptu speaking, and GD are a few examples of this.
- Writing Essays: A crucial component of the interview process. Anyone who wants to excel in the field must have strong written communication skills. As a result, the candidates must show up for an essay writing exercise delivered right away in the screening centres.
- Personal Interview: The weighted percentage for this expert panel interview and the essay marks is 30%. This panel will evaluate the candidates based on several factors, including each one's suitability for a particular position.
BIMHRD Pune Scholarships
To be eligible for the scholarship facility available in BIMHRD, prospective students must satisfy certain eligibility norms.
- The applicant must submit an online admissions application to Sri Balaji University, Pune.
- The applicant must succeed in the selection process (GD, PI and Essay).

Scholarship In Honor Of Prof. MMS Pillai: Two students will be nominated for this award by a committee made up of business professionals who were Prof. M.S. Pillai's students and representatives of the Sadhana Educational & Empowerment Foundation.
Sri Venkateswara Scholarship: The students nominated for this award will be chosen by a committee of university representatives led by the vice-chancellor. The socioeconomic background of the pupils would be one of the primary selection criteria.
