BA College of Engineering and Technology (BACET) was started in 2007 sponsored by Bihar Association. The college is affiliated with Kohlan University, Chaibasa, and Ranchi University, Ranchi. It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, the Government of Jharkhand, and the Ministry of Science and Technology.
- The college covers 20 acres of land and has basic facilities like a Wi-Fi campus, transport, classrooms, hostel, sports, and cafeteria, library, laboratory, and computer labs.

The college has a well-stocked library with around 12000 textbooks and 25 International and national journals and e-journals.
Scholarships are given to SC/ ST/ OBC students. And also to deserving students.
The college is connected with 24/7 internet at high speed.
The college also provides industrial visits to top companies like TATA, TRF, TELCO, STEEL, BSNL, etc.
Faculties with highly qualified and experienced are recruited from IIT’s, BIT Mersa, ISM, and NIT.
The college has separate hostel facilities for both girls and boys with good facilities including mess.
To facilitate the trip and provide fraternity with all the opportunities to complete higher education, transportation from the city to the college and vice versa was organized for the staff and students.
