Arunachal University of Studies (AUS) by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh in 2012. The university is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi, approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The mission is to become a university recognized globally as a reputed institute for excellence in education.
- The university provides education to the students with industrial and classroom lectures to help them gain practical and theoretical knowledge.
- The curriculum provides both national and international knowledge, which will develop research opportunities to improve creativity and innovation.
- The university's vision is to become a center of excellence in providing adequate facilities and technological education to weaker society sections.
- The university covers 30 acres of land with security, classrooms, sports, library, laboratory, auditorium, hostel, medical, computer labs, cafeteria, and gym.
Scholarship opportunities are provided to the students based on category and merit in the entrance exams. The hostel facility is separate for both men with nearly 100 seats and women with 150 seats within the campus. The university provides undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in various departments such as Commerce and Management, arts and social sciences, engineering and technology, law, medicinal sciences, education, social work, physical education, mass communication, and journalism.
