Applicants seeking admission to Army Dental College must ensure the eligibility criteria before seeking admission.

BDS Admission

To get admission to ACDS for BDS, you need to follow these steps:

  • Admission is based on the merit ranking in the UG NEET exam.
  • ACDS accepts 40 students each year. Six seats are reserved for Telangana State residents, and the remaining 34 seats are for the children of current or retired Army personnel.
  • Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNR UHS) in Warangal, Telangana, will manage the admission process for the 34 Army College of Dental Sciences Management Quota Seats. KNR UHS will release two notifications on its website.
  • The first notification is for the Competent Authority Quota, which includes six BDS seats for Telangana State residents. Army candidates should not register under this quota, as it is only for civilians from Telangana. Registering under this quota will disqualify you from applying for the 34 Army seats under the Management Quota.
  • The second notification for Admission into the BDS Course Management Quota will be issued after the last date of registration for the Competent Authority Quota. That includes 34 seats for the children of serving and retired Army personnel in ACDS and for others in the Management Quota of Private Non-Aided Non-Minority & Minority Colleges.
  • Candidates who wish to apply under the Army Quota in ACDS should register for the Management Quota Seats.
  • To register, candidates must visit the KNR UHS website (www.knruhs.in) and pay the required Registration Fee to join the Counselling Session for admission to ACDS for 34 seats under Category B Management seats.
  • After successful registration, candidates will receive an online Acknowledgement Form with a Registration Number from the University.
  • All candidates with a Registration Number from KNR UHS should submit scanned copies of required documents online to ACDS for verification.

This is the dental college which has been established by the Army welfare Education Society so basically it is for the wards of army personnel, war widows, retired or any other army related. In ACDS the main aim is to not just teach us theoretically but also give a good clinical exposure through various case studies of the patients. This college is linked to the military hospital. Army College of Dental Sciences cut-off marks in the NEET-UG should actually be met by the students seeking admission for BDS her. Army dental College fee structure is the most reasonable as I feel that it is well matched with the standards. Annually it would be just IN 3.05 lakhs for the bachelor of dental sciences.

I would like to say it is the best college for pursuing BDS Course. I got here admission on the basis of NEET Score and right now am in 3rd year studying at this college. College is having good infrastructure with proper facilities like laboratories and library and even college facilitates good hostel accommodation with finest necessary amenities and even the hostel fee is nominal it charges approximate 35k and it also includes mess charges and the rooms are well maintained and also we have separate reading room facility in hostel. Army College of Dental Sciences placement assistance is quite good in our college and after the 4th year completion there will be an internship which is mandatory.
