In 1978, Anna University was established as an institution of higher education. It is a State University. The Centre for Distance Education at Anna University has been responsible for the distance education program since 2007. The University is approved by UGC-DEB, aiming to provide professional education and a competitive edge in the global business environment. The University initiated CDE to extend the conventional University instructional mode to online, self-learning, and distance education methodology. The registration process for the CDE courses has to be done offline. The applicants may get the application form in any of the below methods:
- The application form can be obtained personally by paying the application fees by DD of INR 650 in the name of the University.
- Otherwise, the application can be downloaded from the website and submitted with a DD.
- After duly filling out the application form along with the self-attested copies of the required certificates should be submitted.
