Anil Neerukonda Educational Society (ANES) founded the ANITS Visakhapatnam in 2001. The College is allied with Andhra University and has been recognized as a Research Center. ANITS is owned by Megha Engineering and Infrastructure Limited, one of India's top infrastructure & manufacturing companies. AICTE New Delhi and the Government of Andhra Pradesh approved the College to offer degrees in engineering & technology relevant disciplines. In 2008, the NBA accredited the engineering programs. Besides, NAAC accredited Anil Neerukonda College with an “A” Grade.
ANITS Vizag offers BE/B Tech at the UG level and ME/M Tech at the PG level. The B Tech course is available in 9 disciplines, with an annual intake of 30 to 210 per branch. The Mechanical Engineering stream holds the highest intake, followed by CSE, ECE, and IT. ANITS College Vizag Fees Structure for B Tech is INR 76k per annum. The two-year M Tech is available in 6 disciplines, with an intake varying from 8 to 19 seats. ANITS Visakhapatnam Fees Structure for M Tech is INR 85k. Online & offline payment options are available for students. Students opting for hostel facilities must pay the expenses separately, as they will not be included in the tuition fee. ANITS Vizag Hostel Fees vary from 60k to 63k.
Anil Neerukonda Institute of Technology & Sciences admission to the B Tech is offered under the EAMCET Convenor Quota and Management quota, commonly known as Category A and Category B Seats. 70% of Category A seats are filled through EAMCET merit rank, the reservation policy of the AP Government. The entire seat allotment process for 70% is done through APSCHE Counselling regulations. Students who satisfy the required ANITS Visakhapatnam EAMCET Cut off will be eligible for seats under Category A Convenor Quota.
The remaining 30% of Category B Seats are assigned to ANITS Engineering College Management Quota and NRI Quota. The admission criteria shall be made as per the guidelines specified by APSCHE. In the 2nd year, 10% of intake will be filled through ECET Merit Rank. Students who are diploma holders with valid ECET ranks can apply for admission to the B Tech Lateral Entry. ANITS Visakhapatnam Spot admissions might be offered in some circumstances if there are openings in the Category "B" seats; these openings will be announced via the institute's official website.

To maximize the opportunities for all the students in software and core sectors, Anil Neerukonda Institute has established a separate Training & Placements Department, headed by a full-time Dean (Training & Placements) and assisted by 7 faculty members as "Faculty Coordinators."
During their pre-final year, all students receive Campus Recruitment Training on topics such as Quantitative Techniques, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, English Grammar, Group Discussions, and How to Face an Interview. ANITS comprises full-time internal professional trainers on the topics who can help with this.
For on-campus selections, ANITS has enough logistical assistance, including an AC Auditorium that can accommodate 400 people, exam rooms that can hold 500 people at once, and AC interview rooms.
