It is an autonomous institute administered and managed by A catholic religious order, member of the Society of Jesus. - Admission in ALC is merit-based and entrance exam based and merit-based.
- Admission in undergraduate courses at ALC is merit-based.
- Candidates seeking admission in bachelor's courses at ALC must have passed 10+2 from any recognized board of education in the relevant stream.
- The final admission will be based on merit achieved in the last qualifying academic exam.
- For admission in MA and M.Sc course at ALC, candidates must have a Bachelors's degree in a relevant field from any recognized university. In addition, the candidates must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in aggregation.
- The admission in MA and M.Sc courses will be based on marks scored by candidates in entrance exams conducted by Krishna University, KRU-CET.
- For admission in MBA courses at ALC, candidates must undertake the state-level entrance exam Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (APICET).
- To be eligible to apply in MBA courses at ALC, candidates must have a bachelor's degree from any recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregation.
- For admission in undergraduate and postgraduate courses, ALC offers an offline mode of application. Candidates can visit the official site of the institute and download the application form from there. After filling up the application form, please send it to the college and the Rs DD. One hundred fifty issued in favour of Andhra Loyola College.
