Amrita University Course Admission
Admission at Amrita is offered based on the entrance test performance and merit. Applicants willing to apply for Amrita University must make sure all the eligibility criteria of the respective courses. Candidates seeking admission to UG courses must have passed 10+2 in the concerned subjects. For PG Courses, Students shall have done a UG degree in the concerned stream. Application forms of Amrita can be filled out online mode by logging into the University's website.
- Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham conducts the Amrita University Entrance Exam to offer admission to the B Tech courses (AEEE)
- The mode of AEEE exam is online. The duration of the entrance exam is 150 minutes. AEEE Question Paper comprises 100 MCQ questions. There will be three subjects: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
- Suppose Candidates with a valid score in the JEE Main Entrance Test are also eligible to apply for Amrita B Tech admission. While doing the registration, they must pay INR 450.
- If candidates wish to apply for admission based on AEEE and JEE Main scores, they must pay INR 1200.
- Students who possess a bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks can apply for Amrita MBA Admission.
- The selection of the applicants will be based on their performance in the entrance test. Amrita accepts the valid scores of CAT, MAT, CMAT, GMAT, XAT, or any other equivalent exam scores.
- Besides, students must meet the Amrita University MBA Cutoff criteria. Amrita CAT Cutoff is 70-75 percent. And, MAT cutoff varies between 75 to 80 percent.

Amrita Coimbatore Campus has 8 hostels. More than 3500 students can be accommodated. Final-year UG students and PG Students can opt for single rooms. All hostels are well-equipped with the necessary amenities. Hostel Rooms are well furnished with modern requirements.
- Admission seekers need to follow the guidelines as prescribed by the institution. All students are likely to live in the hostel during their graduation.
- However, local students who live with their parents within 30km of the Amrita campus are allowed to come from their homes.

The college is in Coimbatore and approved by the AICTE. Hostel facilities are like they will provide non-veg and fries one day per week and in campus non veg is not at all allowed but the taste is also nor so good. Placements are well and the average package is like 6-8 LPA. The festivals that are celebrated here are grandly celebrated in the college. There is also the tech fest which is very remarkable in the college. The scholarship and the loan facility is also available in the college. As the placements are good so there are internship facilities also.
