Akal University Placement
Akal University offers reasonable Placement assistance for its students by providing the best career guidance and also organizes placement activities and counseling sessions to increase the employability skills among candidates. University organizes educational tours and invite experts from other organizations and make them interact with the students through seminars, guest lectures, group discussion, Pre-placement talk, etc. Apart from this other training activities like Mock Interview, Aptitude test, Personality enhancement classes are also conducted to improve students' skills & knowledge.
University has also established English Language Lab to enhance the students' writing and verbal communication skills. It also conducts a placement drive and invites good companies to recruit talented students.

Minority Community scholarship-This scholarship is offered to provide financial assistance for Needy and Meritorious Candidates who belong to the Minority communities such as Sikhs, Parsis, Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, etc. The scholarship is offered by an agency designated by the state government, and some of the minority community's scholarship schemes are listed below.
- Merit Cum Means scholarships- This scholarship is awarded for the Meritorious Students who secured a fair percentage but belonged to EWS Category, and parent’s/guardian annual income must be less than 2.5 Lakhs.
- Post-Matric Scholarships-It is provided for the Candidates who come from financially weaker background whose parent’s/guardian annual income is less than INR 2 Lakhs.
- Maulana Azad scholarships- Under this Scheme, Scholarships are given for the postgraduate candidates who are financially weaker to pursue higher studies like Ph.D. & M.Phil.
Post Matric scholarships for OBC Candidates
It is a centrally sponsored scholarship scheme. It is provided for Punjab's domicile candidates who belong to the backward category and whose parent’s annual income should be less than 1 Lakh.
Post Matric scholarships for SC Candidates
This Scholarship facility is provided for Punjab's domicile candidates who belong to the Scheduled Category, and the Punjab State Government offers it. It is being provided for the student whose parents' annual income is less than INR 2.5 Lakhs.
