Akal College of Arts and Social Science is among the institutes of Eternal University located in Himachal Pradesh. This is a NAAC accredited and certified university which has also gained recognition in the state of Himachal Pradesh. This college was started with the vision to promote the founder's ideas and engage students in the right kind of knowledge. The Akal College of Arts and Social Science consists of two wings which are Akal College of Divine Music and Spiritualism. There is also a program in Music Vocal which is purely based on Indian Classical Music and some of its parts of Gurmat Sangeet.
- Akal College of Arts and Social Science-Eternal University offers various programs in Music like B. An in (Music) in Gurmat Sangeet, Tabla, and Music Instrumental. There is also M.A- Master Degree program in Music Vocal and Music Instrumental offered by this institute.
- B.A- Bachelor of Arts course is also offered in Humanities and Music specializations, which have 80 and 40 seats annually. B.Sc. (Hons) in Psychology specializations which has the intake of 30 seats annually.
- The post-graduate course of M.A in English and Music specializations has an annual intake of 15 seats each. Eligibility for M.A will be to have cleared B. An in Music Vocal or Instrumental, or B.An in Music (Hons) or any equivalent examination.
- Akal College of Arts and Social Science-Eternal University admission procedure will have a filling of application form, after which students must pay the application fee of Rs. 500. The application or admission form must be collected at the college, and the prospectus or even can be downloaded.
- Akal College of Arts and Social Science-Eternal University fee structure for the BA and MA courses will be as per the norms and will be designed keeping in mind the aspect of student’s convenience.
The college facilities include a library, auditorium, hostel, classrooms, workshops, etc. Akal College of Arts and Social Science- Eternal University hostel facilities are excellent: nonalcohol and other prohibited areas. There are well-furnished rooms offered in 3 seaters, two seaters, and single-seater. The fee structure of the hostel also will be based on the type of seater chosen.
