AIT offers a diverse range of courses in Engineering & Management at both UG and PG levels. Below are the details of the eligibility and selection process for courses offered by AIT.
- For B.Tech admission to Ahmedabad Institute of Technology, candidates must have completed 10+2 from a recognized university with at least 45% marks. Admission is based on either the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main or the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET).
- For M.Tech, candidates need to have a graduation degree in BE, B Tech, or an equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks. Admission is through either the GATE or the Gujarat Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (GUJ PGCET).
- For an MBA, candidates should hold a graduation degree in relevant courses. Admission is based on scores from the CAT, CMAT, or any equivalent exam.

The AIT Placement Cell has a clear goal to bridge the gap between what students learn in theory and what the industry needs in practice. From the first year onward, they guide and assist students in finding placements. Each semester, they have a customized plan for training and grooming sessions.
- Throughout the year, experts are invited to talk and mentor students. They cover topics like understanding personality, self-awareness, setting smart goals, and managing careers.
- They conduct training sessions on practical skills like resume writing, personal grooming, and non-verbal communication, including body language and gestures.
- To prepare students for real interviews, we organize mock interviews with video recordings so they can learn and improve.
- Noteworthy recruiters include Adaptive Engineering Pvt Ltd, KCT Consultancy Services, Epitome, and Group Planet Petal, among others.
- In the previous placement season, a total of 86 companies visited the campus, with 434 students appearing for placements.
- Out of these, 390 students secured placements, with an Ahmedabad Institute of Technology average package of 3.25 lakh INR and the highest package offered being 5.5 lakh INR.
