YCEE B. Tech eligibility/selection criteria

  • For admission to the B Tech at YCEE, you have to finish 10 + 2 with mathematics, chemistry and physics, and your aggregate should be 50%.
  • The students should go through the JEE Main/ MHT-CET, which will get them through admissions. All   India seats are 15 per cent, and the remaining 85 per cent seats are Maharashtra state seats.
  • For B Tech Lateral Entry, candidates have to pass Diploma in engineering streams, and they must have secured 50% aggregate marks. However, even BSc graduates can seek admission to the B Tech Lateral Entry.
  • Candidates who wish to secure admission seats under Government Quota have to apply through MHTCET rank followed by CAP counselling (Centralized Admission Process)

YCEE M. Tech eligibility/selection criteria  

  • Students who wish to secure admission to the M Tech at YCEE have to score a valid score in GATE Entrance Exam.
  • In addition, candidates shall have completed their UG degree with a minimum of 50% in aggregate.
  • The selection of the students will be done through a GATE score followed by a personal interview.

YCEE application process

·Yeshwantrao Chavan College offers admission under both institute level quota & CAP (Centralized admission process)

  • For CAP, eligible applicants have to register through the DTE website. The registration is entirely online.
  • Through CAP rounds, the final seat allocation is based on the student's valid rank in MHTCET/GATE and choice of preferences.
  • Students who wish to apply under ILQ (Institute level quota), must fill the application form by downloading.
  • Students have to visit the YCEE's official website to download the Yeshwantrao Chavan College application form.
  • The application fees charge INR 1000, which can be paid through Demand Draft.

I am pursuing BE in Civil Engineering and right now am in final year. Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering admissions for BE course will be usually provided on the basis of entrance exam score. Actually I had appeared for MHT-CET Entrance Exam based on the valid score I got admission in this college.

I wish to confess it is one of the good college for pursuing BE Course. I have opted computer science stream as my area of specialization and at present am in final year. To say about the selected course curriculum it is actually expedient and convenient for studying it . Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering admissions for BE Course will be given on the basis of MHT-CET Score and also candidates who are qualified in JEE Main Entrance Exam are also eligible to get admission for BE Course. YCCE, Nagpur application fee costs approximate INR 800 and for the reserved categories it costs approximate INR 600

Yeshwantrao Chavan College MHT CET Cutoff varies between 74.97 to 95, depending on the specialization you choose. In the case of JEE Main, the cutoff will vary between 7228-35942.

Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering cutoff (MHT CET) is between 74-95, depending on the specialization you choose. In contrast, JEE Main Cut off rank varies between 7228-35942.

If the applicants don’t get the eligible cut-off rank in JEE Main then they can apply for YCCE direct admissions through the management quota.

Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering will consider academic merit with JEE Main or MHT CET scores for admissions. If they do not meet the eligible marks then they can apply for management or direct admissions.
