NAAC has accredited Wainganga College with a ‘B’ Grade. The college currently offers BE, BE Lateral at the UG level and MBA, M Tech at the PG level.

Wainganga college BTech Admission

B. Tech eligibility/selection criteria

  • If you wish to become eligible for the B. Tech admission at WCEM, you need to do 10 + 2 in physics, chemistry, and mathematics. The minimum aggregate marks that you need are 50 percent.
  • At WCEM, students will be selected for B Tech admission based on the JEE Main and MHT CET Entrance Tests.
  • Candidates who wish to apply under CAP (Centralized admission process) must score a valid rank in MHT CET as equivalent to the WCEM B Tech cut-off criteria. DTE Maharashtra will conduct CAP.

M. Tech eligibility/selection criteria

  • To be eligible, candidates must score at least 50% in aggregate at the UG level. In addition, they must have studied for a relevant bachelor's degree, that is, BE/B Tech/BSc in the concerned stream.
  • The selection criteria for M Tech in WCEM depends on the student's performance in the national level entrance test, which is GATE.

MBA Eligibility

  • If any student wishes to be in the MBA program at WCEM, they must have completed a bachelor's degree with an aggregate mark of 50 percent.
  • Students are selected based on their scores in the following exams: MAH-CET / CAT / ATMA / CMAT / MAT / XAT/ GMAT.
  • For the final selection process, candidates have to undergo a Personal Interview & Group Discussion.

Diploma in engineering at WCEM

There are four diploma specializations that people can choose from, and the specialization lasts for three years. Admission to the Diploma at WCEM is based on academic merit in the qualifying exam. In addition, candidates are required to clear the 10th board examination with minimum marks.

I’ve pursued my MBA at Wainganga, it’s a full time MBA that’s offered here. In order to seek admission here’s some information to aspirants. Wainganga College of Engineering & Management Admission requires that the candidate should’ve cleared their bachelor’s degree in any domain and from a reputed institute securing a min. of 50% average marks. The candidate is also required to take the MAH-CET / CAT / ATMA / CMAT / MAT / XAT/ GMAT entrance tests and secure a valid score. The candidates are shortlisted based on the basic criteria fulfillment after which they are called for a group discussion and a personal interview at the institute. The candidates who perform well are selected.

The WCEM selection criteria for the B-Tech program will depend on 10th and 12thboard exams with min of 50% marks followed by MHTCET or JEE Main scores. The CSE stream cut-off rank is 43063. 

What will be the B-Tech ECE cut-off rank accepted for admissions at WCEM?

WCEM will consider JEE Main or MHTCET cut-off scores followed by academic scores in board exams. Wainganga College of Engineering & Management cut-off for the CSE stream through JEE Main is 43063. 

What is the hostel fees in WCEM?

The hostel facility is offered in WCET with an annual INR 15,000 for its candidates.
