Vinoba Bhave University, which was established in 1992, is located in Hazaribagh. This is one state university that the Government of India funds. This University is specialized in offering numerous undergraduate, Post-graduate, and Research level courses in disciplines such as Physical science, Earth Science, Humanities, Social Science, Life Science, Technology, Law, Commerce, Education, Ayurveda, Engineering, Homeopathy and Medical Science, etc.

Vinoba Bhave University-VBU Admissions for UG Courses: BBA/ B.Com/ B.Ed/ BCA/ BA/ B.Sc.

The undergraduate courses offered by Vinoba Bhave University are BBA, BCA, B.Com, and B.Ed, whereas BA & B.Sc. are in several specializations. For VBU Admissions into these UG courses, The Basic Eligibility will be to have cleared the 12th/ HSC as an intermediate-level examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in any appropriate streams. For admission to courses like LLB and B.Ed, candidates must be a Bachelor's Degree holder only then/will be eligible to apply for these two courses.

Admission to most UG courses shall be made based on merit obtained by candidates except for B.Ed, for which candidates will have to appear for the Entrance exam.

Candidates can purchase the VBU Application form from the VBU campus by paying Rs. 500 as the VBU application fee. Candidates must duly fill out the application form and send it to the VBU address and the documents required.

Note- All the candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the Bachelor of Degree and PG Degree for the B.Ed course as per the norms of the NCTE.

Vinoba Bhave University Admissions: MBBS/ BAMS /BHMS/ BDS

There are courses in medicine such as MBBS- Bachelor of Surgery and Medicine, BAMS- Bachelor of Ayurveda and Medical Science, BHMS- Homeopathy, and BDS—Dental. All the candidates seeking admission in these courses will have to pass the 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects with at least 60% marks in aggregate.

Candidates who have been looking for MBBS Admission in VBU will have to qualify in the NEET by CBSE mandatorily. The Institute will decide the Merit of the candidates selected for the MBBS based on the marks obtained by candidates in NEET.

BPT admission at VBU will be according to the entrance exam conducted by VBU, and scores obtained by the students will be considered for the BPT Seat allotment.

BHMS and BAMS Admission to VBU shall be made based on the entrance exam in May by the Association of Private Homeopathic Medical Colleges of Jharkhand.

Vinoba Bhave University Admissions: B.Tech               

VBU offers B.Tech courses in various specializations under the UG-level programs. B.Tech is a 4-year duration program, and the B. Tech Lateral entry course, which is 3 years' duration, is also offered. The Eligibility needed by the candidates to obtain B.Tech admission at VBU will be to have passed the 10+2 examination, mainly in the Stream of Science and Mathematics, from a recognized board of education/ University.

B.Tech Lateral Entry Admissions will need candidates' basic Eligibility with a polytechnic Diploma in the appropriate streams.

The Selection Process will be carried out based on the scores obtained by the JCECE (Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination) conducted by the State Examination Authority.

Vinoba Bhave University Admissions: MD/ MS/ MDS

The courses such as MD, MS, and MDS are among the post-graduation courses. These courses are 3 years in duration. The minimum Eligibility needed is MBBS or BDS passed with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Such candidates are eligible to apply for MD and MDS, respectively.

To seek admission for these PG courses, one must have appeared for NEET-PG conducted by NBE and secure valid marks in NEET-PG to be eligible.

Vinoba Bhave University Admissions for PG Courses: M.Tech/ M.Com/ MBA/ M.Ed./ M.Sc./ MA

VBU offers M.Tech, M.Com, MBA, M.Ed, MA, and M.Sc., which are post-graduation courses in different fields. The Minimum Eligibility needed to take these courses is a Bachelor's Degree in the relevant discipline. Merit-based admissions are made for courses like M.Com, MA, and M.Sc., according to the qualifying examination. At the same time, M. Tech admissions will be made based on the Entrance examination conducted for PG courses by the State Government of Jharkhand. Candidates with valid GATE scores also can apply for the M.Tech course at VBU.

MBA course needs basic Eligibility of a bachelor's degree passed with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and should have a valid score in CAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ ATMA/ XAT.

Candidates can obtain the application form and Brochure at the university campus by paying Rs to apply for an MBA. 1000 as the VBU application fee and Rs. 750 for the SC/ST category.

Candidates seeking M.Sc. in Environmental Science admissions will have to fill out the application form by paying Rs. 1000, and to get the application form, candidates must be a graduate/B.Tech/MBBS with at least 50% marks.

The application form will cost Rs. 1000 and Rs. 750 for the SC/ST category for candidates seeking Dual degree admissions in M.Sc. Biotechnology plus Food quality assessment, forensic science and food Technology.

MBA course is also offered in the evening, for which Students can download the application form from the VBU website by paying Rs. 1000.

Applicants can duly fill out the MCA Application form online or offline by paying Rs. 1000 and Rs. 500 for MCA (int.)

Students can obtain the application fee for M.Sc. in Biotechnology by paying Rs. Applicants can download 650 from the VBU campus or on the VBU Website.

Vinoba Bhave University Application process

Candidates can collect the Vinoba Bhave University application form from the affiliated colleges of VBU by paying the application fee through Demand Draft or cash.

The University will announce the Last date for submitting the duly filled application form; hence, applicants must submit it before the last date.

The merit list of the shortlisted candidates will be displayed by the university so that students can confirm their seats by paying the admission fee.

B.Sc., BA, B.ed integrated course application form:
