Vidyashilp University in Bangalore is a place where learning and innovation come together. This college was established in 2021 by the Vidyashilp Education Group. It has a history rooted in quality education for over 40 years. VU has best-in-class infrastructure and resources for the student's needs. Vidyashilp University Courses include B Tech, BMS, BA, B.Des, BSc, BA LLB and BMS LLM. These courses are offered under 4 constituent schools.

Vidyashilp University UG Admission

The institute offers different courses through four departments:

  • School of Business Studies: BMS (Hons.)/ with Research and PG Diploma in Start-up Management.
  • School of Computational and Data Sciences: B. Tech (Hons.) in Data Sciences and B. Sc. (Hons.) in Decision Sciences.
  • School of Liberal Arts and Design Studies: B. Des. in Communication Design, BA (Hons.), and BA (Hons.) in Research.
  • School of Legal Studies and Governance: BMS LL.B (Hons.) and BA LL.B (Hons.).

Vidyashilp University UG Eligibility Criteria

The common Eligibility for the UG Courses offered is at least a 50% score in 10+2 from any recognized board. Along with the common eligibility, some subjects have their criteria for selecting students. These are as follows:

  • In B.Des, the students must score the cutoff marks in any of the designing entrance exams, that is, NID/DAT or UCEED.
  • For admission to the Vidyashilp University BSc, the Candidate must have studied compulsory PCM in 10+2 with 50% accredited marks.
  • Candidates seeking admission to the BA shall have cleared 10+2 with a min of 50%.
  • Candidates eligible for these courses need to fill out the form, attend interviews, and secure admission based on the University's merit list.

Vidyashilp University B Tech Admission

VU offers admission to the B Tech in Data Science. Admission is offered on the basis of JEE Main or KCET. Candidates must satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria to apply for courses.

For National/State Boards:

·         passed 10+2/HSC with at least 50% from a recognized board.

For IB (International Baccalaureate):

·         Chosen subjects: English, Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science or a technical vocational subject.

·         Need an IB Diploma or Certificate with at least 4 points each in Physics, Mathematics, and an optional subject. Overall, at least 24 points.

·         Technical vocational subjects must relate to the Chemical/ Civil/ Computer/ Electrical/ Mechanical streams.

For A Level:

·         Subjects: Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science or a technical vocational subject in 'A' Level. Also, I speak English in 'AS'/IGCSE/GCSE.

Vidyashilp University Law Admission

Under Law, VU offers admission to the BA LLB and BMS LLB. To join, students must satisfy the eligibility criteria.

Eligibility:

  • Completion of Senior Secondary School course 10+2/HSC or equivalent from a recognized Board in India or abroad.

Minimum Marks:

  • General Category: Minimum 45% marks in the qualifying exam.
  • SC/ST: Minimum 40% marks in the qualifying exam.

Other Details:

  • Preference is given to those who cleared CLAT/LSAT/AILET (National Law Entrance Exams).
  • Personal Interview conducted by the University is mandatory for students.
