Vidyasagar University was established in 1981 in memory of great educationist and Bengal social worker Pandit Iswar Chandra Bandyopadhyay, also known as Vidyasagar. The University was recognized by UGC in 1990 under 12 B. The University follows a Motto of education and knowledge Progress, which embodies the mission to deliver solutions to the requirements of ethnic, regional, geographical and socio-cultural education.

Application Process:

The candidates wanting to get admission for Distance Education must get an admission form from the University's official website.

  • The candidates must download and get a printout of the application form from the official website.
  • The application form has to be filled with the necessary and accurate details of the desired course and study centre.
  • The application form processing fee has to be paid through DD or Cash in the UCO Bank.
  • The DD must be made in the University's name, payable only in Midnapore.
  • The application form has to be submitted with all the attested mandatory documents.
  • The applicant has to visit the University with the original documents and fee receipt for admission.
  • The applicant's admission will be confirmed only after the verification process of the original documents.

  • 10th or its equivalent marks card
  • 12th or its equivalent marks card
  • Bachelor's Degree Certificates
  • No Objection Certificate from the employers if working
  • Fees Receipt

Candidates applying for distance MBA must fill out the online application form by visiting the official website of the university. Fill in the form, upload the scanned docs, upload the sign and photos digitally, and lastly, pay the form fees to complete the process.

Is there any entrance exam required for a distance MBA at VUDL?

Distance MBA is not available in Vidyasagar University Distance Learning. There are other PG programs at VUDL like MA, M.Com, and M.Sc.
