VEC, Chennai, offers a B.Tech program in eight specializations for students with the eligibility of 10+2 or equivalent with 50% aggregate in PCM. The Candidate must get a valid TNEA entrance exam score to apply for the B.Tech program. The Candidate will be allotted a seat in B.Tech depending on the score in the entrance exam. After selection, the Candidate will have to attend counselling held by the College.
The candidates can also get admission based on merit in the qualifying exam through the management quota.

VEC, Chennai Application process for the programs offered in the College is through the norms of the examination board, that is, TANCET and TNEA. The candidates will have to register themselves on the respective exam boards. The candidates will have to fill out the form online and submit it with an application fee of INR 500/-
The candidates can log in to the college website to register for the chosen program. Registered candidates will be called up for counselling at allotted organizations. Required documents have to be submitted at the time of counselling for verification.
