Vel Tech SOM is started as one of the well-known institutes for magnet in Chennai in 1997. VTSM is a private institute that is approved by AICTE and UG Committee for providing magnt studies. I passed the MAT and I had applied in this institute for MBA admission. I applied for MBA before I could even clear the MAT and after I passed in that test I was luckily eligible to take admission in Vel Tech School of Management. Applicants with XAT, CAT or MAT etc. are also eligible. It is very much mandatory for us score 50% in all of these admission tests for MBA admissions in this institute. V-MAT is the institute level entrance test which can also be appeared even in case they have not appeared for any other tests. In our college they also give admissions based on the sports quota.

Students who have completed their graduation degree with CAT/ MAT entrance exams can send their applications online or offline.

MBA admission in VTSM is required.

Candidates applying for an MBA course must have passed Bachelor's degree with 50% marks from a reputed university. In addition, admission for an MBA course at VTSM depends on MAT / CAT / XAT scores secured by the student.

Nearly 12 specialisations are offered under MBA and is been the best course, in their semester holidays candidates shall appear for internship programs since the institute has got several collaborations with top organisations and companies, placement cell would help students seek internships and good placement offers.
