Direct Admission in VSSUT Sambalpur 2025: Date, Cutoff, Eligibility

University College of Engineering, Burla is the former name of the Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology shortly and commonly known as VSSUT. In Odisha, it is the first engineering college and now offers various fields at UG and PG level with numerous specializations. Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology admissions are considered based on the candidate’s performance in the state/national level entrance exam.

For the admissions of B.Tech, JEE Main score is considered along with the marks obtained in the +2 board in the science stream.
GATE is taken into consideration, and based on that, Institute would offer seats for M.Tech.
Through the Odisha Joint Entrance Exam (OJEE), Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology admissions to MCA will be provided.
Candidates will fill the Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology admission form online on the website.
For those eligible and category-wise based students, there is a scholarship facility from Nehru Memorial Scholarships.
The eligibility criteria differ for every program, and if the candidate satisfies the Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology standards, the admissions will be granted.

The Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology B.Tech and B.Tech + M.Tech (integrated) Admissions:

Under B.Tech, there are 11 specializations offered with 4 years, and the integrated programs take up to 5 years. JEE Main score-based B.Tech admission takes place along with merit in academics. Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology MCA, M.Tech, M.Sc. and B.Sc. + M.Sc. (integrated) Admissions:

With 20 various specializations, Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology offers an M.Tech program under post-graduation level. GATE score is considered to provide admissions for M.Tech, and candidates must have passed in graduation with a minimum 50% aggregate to apply for the program. And for another program under PG level Veer the Surendra Sai University of Technology, admissions are offered based on candidates' academic performance under graduation.
