Varuvan vadivelan Institute of Technology was established by Lakshmi Educational Trust in 2002. VVIT is allied with Anna University, Chennai, and approved by the AICTE, New Delhi. VVIT offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the field of engineering and technology.   • VVIT offers undergraduate programs in engineering under various specializations. The admission in the bachelor of engineering course at VVIT would be based on Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) counselling.
  • The rank achieved in TNEA counselling is based on the marks obtained by the candidate in the 10+2 exam.
  • Along with undergraduate programs, VVIT also offers postgraduate programs in engineering and technology under various disciplines. Candidates willing to take admission in ME courses at VVIT have to undertake the entrance exam TANCET, conducted by Anna University.

VVIT offers a full-time on-campus Bachelors in Engineering (BE) under five different specializations, four years and eight semesters.

  • The admission in the BE course at VVIT would be based on Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA).
  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 from any recognized board of education with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as mandatory subjects with a minimum of 50% of marks in aggregation.
  • Anna University will prepare the TNEA merit list by considering 10+2 scores. Candidates whose names are featured in the merit list are allowed to participate in counselling.

There is no any entrance exams conducted either by the govt. or by the college to seek Varuvan Vadivelan Institute of Technology admissions for B.Tech. So, Varuvan Vadivelan Institute admissions will be done based on 12th board examination marks so students with marks in 12th would be able to undergo TNEA counselling and then get their colleges and seats confirmed. To be frank the fees is so much affordable, I am not sure about the scholarships offered however the fee is not so high. There is residential facility and students willing to get hostel facility can take the admissions during the college admissions.
