Admission for the Undergraduate course is based on the interview process in the college. Minimum eligibility is that candidates should have obtained 50% aggregate marks in the 10+2 qualifying examination.
Admission for the Postgraduate course is based on the valid marks obtained in MAT, CAT, XAT, CMAT entrance examination, and the personal interview in the institute.

Vaishali Institute of Business and Rural Management is based in Muzaffarpur and affiliated with BRABU. Based on the MBA excellence, the institute is ranked in the 282nd position, as given by IndiaToday. The MBA program is one of the flagship courses offered at VIBRM. Admission to the MBA program is done on the basis of the merit of candidates in national-level exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, or CMAT. Final selection of the candidates is based on their performance in group discussion and personal interview rounds. The mode of application for MBA admissions at VIBRM is accepted in online mode, i.e., by using the official website and paying form fees to complete the process.
To apply for the college we need to take the application form in the Vaishali Institute admission office and complete it with valid details based on which names of the candidates will be shortlisted and depending on that can seek admission for MBA. I did not apply for counselling so had to go through all this process. Based on my graduation marks I was eligible to take MBA course but the fee is quite high compared to general Vaishali Institute admission. However, the placements are good inviting many top companies and there is no inequality for general admission students and management quota students.
