Admission in University of Rajasthan 2025: Date, Cutoff, Eligibility

The University of Rajasthan is also called UNIRAJ. The University started in 1947. It got approvals from UGC and other recognitions. NAAC accredited with grade A. It offers good education and is well-known across the country for its success in education. These programs include undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs. UG Admissions offers many programs like B.PEd., BVA, BA, BBA, LLB, B.Sc., BCA, B.Ed., and more. We offer many postgraduate and doctoral programs like M-Tech, MBA, MCA, M.Com, MPA, MA, MVA, MJMC, LLM, M.Sc., M.Ed., MIB, M.Lib.Sc., M.Phil, and PhD.

University of Rajasthan Courses Admissions depend only on how well you did in your previous exams. Certain courses need specific scores for admission to the University. It accepts entrance exams like GATE, PIM MAT, CAT, and CMAT scores. They may also consider M-Tech and MBA programs. To get into other PG courses, you need to take the URAT PG entrance exam.

The University of Rajasthan B.PEd. admissions

Rajasthan University offers various UG and PG programs, providing academic excellence. One of them is a B.PEd. in the physical education stream. It is a full-time, on-campus program for 3 years. The eligibility criteria required for admissions are that they must have done their board exams in 10+2/HSC examinations along with a bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 50%.

Also, the interested students must have passed the physical fitness test as mandatory. Applicants can access the Rajasthan University admission portal to fill out the form online.

The University of Rajasthan BVA and BBA admissions

Bachelor of Visual Arts (BVA) is a UG program for 4 years. The applicants must have completed their basic board exam of 10+2 from the Rajasthan Board or its equivalent with a min of 45% in aggregate. The admission will be valid based on Aptitude test/ merit. BVA is available in subjects like painting, Sculpture, and applied arts.

The BBA program is provided as a full-time on-campus course for three years. BBA is one of the common UG programs for those willing to join Business Administration. The only requirement for admission to the BBA is to have passed the 10+2/HSC board exams. It is a full-time program, and the total intake of seats per annum will be around 60. Candidates are required to mention the discipline they are interested in while filling out the form. Students can apply for admissions online and offline.  University of Rajasthan LLB and B.Sc. admissions

LLB admissions are provided at the graduation level and are offered full-time for three years. Students willing to join the LLB program must have finished a graduation degree in any stream from a recognized university with a minimum score of 50%. The eligible candidates must appear for the RULET entrance exam (University of Rajasthan Entrance Exam) conducted by the University. To apply for the entrance test, applicants can submit the online form by visiting the University website. 

B.Sc. is a 3-year program, and the basic requirement is that the candidate must have done 12th class board exams or its equivalent exam under the scheme of 10+2 with science subjects, securing at least 50% marks in aggregate. The University also offers B.Sc. Hons for the eligible students with the same eligibility criteria. The admissions are based on merit scores. 

University of Rajasthan BCA and B.Ed. admissions

BCA admission is for students who are willing to do a degree in computer applications. Students must have mathematics as a mandatory subject. For B.Ed admissions at UNIRAJ, the applicants must have completed graduation in any degree from a recognized University and have no backlogs. Candidates will have to apply for admission after meeting the necessary eligibility. The applications are accepted in online and offline modes as well.  

University of Rajasthan M-Tech admissions

If the candidates want admission to the M-Tech program, they must meet the basic eligibility. The M-Tech or ME is a 2-year course that can be pursued by candidates who want to do higher studies. For this program, the applicants must have completed their UG program, i.e., B-Tech, with the relevant specialization. The applicants must have taken the GATE entrance exam and scored good percentages and rankings to be selected. The accepted cut-off will be released on the official website.

University of Rajasthan PG admissions

The University of Rajasthan offers many post-graduation courses like MA, M.Com, MJMC, LLM, and M.Ed. These courses are available in fields like Arts, Commerce, Law, Education and more. All of the mentioned programs are provided with a duration of 2 years. For UNIRAJ PG admissions, the major criteria for UNIRAJ MA admissions and UNIRAJ MCA admissions are to complete a bachelor's Degree from a certified University in relevant fields.

There must be no backlogs, and you must have at least 50% in all subjects through the degree course. In the case of LLM, the eligible candidates are obligated to appear for the entrance test and must have secured a minimum of 70 marks in it, and the merit will also be considered above 70 marks.

The University of Rajasthan M.Sc. and MCA admissions

In the science stream, the M.Sc. and MCA courses are offered at the PG level in UNIRAJ. The entire course duration is two years.

For the M.Sc. course, candidates must have a B.Sc. in Mathematics with 50% as the minimum score. For MCA admissions, students must have finished a BCA / Bachelor Degree with Computer Science/ Statistics + PGDCA degree from a recognized or certified University or equivalent with at least 50% marks.

University of Rajasthan MBA admissions

The MBA program is one of the major programs offered by UNIRAJ. It is a management stream PG program. MBA is a two-year full-time program. The intake of candidates annually is 50 for every academic year.

For SC candidates, 45% will be accepted for UNIRAJ MBA admissions. The selected candidates will then be followed with group discussions and personal interview rounds. The available specializations are mentioned in the table below.

University of Rajasthan M.Ed., MIB, and M.Lib.I.Sc. admissions

M.Ed., MIB, and M.Lib.Sc. are available under the PG programs offered by the University of Rajasthan. The basic requirement for PG admissions is to have completed a bachelor's Degree in a relevant stream from an AICTE-approved University. The M.Ed. program is offered for 1 year, whereas the Masters of International Business (MIB) and M.Lib.Sc. are two-year programs. The admission criteria will be based on academic merit in the qualifying examination.
