The University of Hyderabad is a central university popular for its accredited PG and Ph. D courses and industrially relevant teaching pedagogy. The University's ranking has constantly improved every year, ranking 20th in the NIRF Ranking among top universities in the overall category. Moreover, it has been accredited with an A grade by NAAC, followed by recognition from UGC.

Hyderabad University admission process is based on merit from the previous qualifying and CUET entrance exams. University of Hyderabad M. Sc Admission

Among the University of Hyderabad PG courses, the full-time 2-year-long M. Sc course is one of the most popular, given its stellar placements and teaching pedagogy. So far, applicants can opt for any of the disciplines mentioned below:

According to the University of Hyderabad PG Admission criteria, students must pass their previous Bachelor's degree exams from a UGC-approved university. Moreover, they must have obtained their Bachelor's degree, preferably a full-time B. Sc, in a relevant field.

However, more than satisfying the basic eligibility criteria is required as selected students must also take the CUET PG exam. The University of Hyderabad CUET cut-off to gauge their chances of admission to their favorite program. In addition to the two-year MSC, the University offers Integrated BSC+MSC for five years. Furthermore, candidates who have passed 10+2 with at least 60% or more can apply for the University of Hyderabad Dual Degree Courses. The selection will depend on CUET UG.

University of Hyderabad MBA Admission

Eligible students who hold a relevant bachelor's degree can only apply to the full-time 2 years long MBA in Hyderabad University, which includes disciplines such as:

The basic eligibility for an MBA at the University of Hyderabad is passing the graduation exams with at least 60% aggregate marks, and that too in relevant domains. Apart from securing these specified marks or equivalent grades, eligible students must also sit for exams like CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ NMAT.

Based on the applicant's performance in the entrance exams, the University will invite a shortlisted group for personal interviews and group discussions. Furthermore, their relevant work experience and extracurricular records will be analyzed properly before offering final admissions.

In addition to the regular MBA program, there is also a provision for an Executive MBA at Hyderabad University exclusively for Working Professionals. The eligibility criteria are similar to the regular MBA. However, priority will be given to aspirants with at least two years of work experience.

Admission to the full-time, 2-year-long MPH in the University requires applicants to secure at least 55% aggregate marks in their graduation exams and from UGC-approved universities only. The full-time, 2-year-long MPA course is a unique program from the University of Hyderabad's degree courses. Those who wish to secure admission to this program must pass their university exams with at least 55% marks, and that too from a UGC-approved institution only.

Moreover, a lot of weight will be given to the relevance of the applicant's Bachelor's degree. For instance, while applying to the music discipline, they must have a relevant Bachelor's degree in music, specifying the exact type of music studied.

University of Hyderabad Application Process

Students applying to the full-time course at UOH must know the complete admission process. Therefore, applicants must submit the application form by filling it with complete and correct details, as the University might reject the application otherwise.

Moreover, it is mandatory to submit it on time as per the University of Hyderabad notification. Late submissions can attract penalties or extra application fees. While filling out the form, prepare some documents like photographs, scanned copies of certificates, mark sheets, etc.

  1. First, visit the University of Hyderabad's official website and click the Apply Now button.
  2. When you are done with filling out the form, upload the documents as mentioned there. This may include mark sheets, certificates, aadhar card copies, photographs, etc.
  3. Lastly, pay the application fee by any online channel such as Net Banking, UPI, etc. Remember that this fee is non-returnable, and the application form will only be processed with payment.
  • The students belonging to the general category need to pay Rs. 600
  • whereas those belonging to EWS have to pay Rs. 550.
  • Furthermore, applicants from the OBC category have to pay Rs. 400
  • while SC/ ST students pay Rs. 275.
