Trichy Engineering College is one of the leading institutes in providing education in engineering and technology. TEC is located in Tiruchirappalli. Tamil Nadu and was established by Annai Santhiya Educational Health and Charitable trust in 1998. TEC is affiliated with Anna University and recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. TEC is a self-financed institution that provides value-based education and prepares the students according to future industry requirements. TCE offers various undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the field of engineering and technology.

  • To be eligible for the BE course in TCE, candidates must have passed 10+2.
  • TCE also provides postgraduate courses in engineering and technology under different specializations. The admission in ME courses at TCE is based on the marks secured in the entrance exam TANCET.
  • For admission in postgraduate courses, candidates must have a bachelor's degree in the relevant field.

Trichy Engineering College BE admission:

  • TCE offers undergraduate courses in engineering under various disciplines. The admission of candidates in the BE course at TCE is based on the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) counseling.
  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 from any recognized board of education with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as main subjects and must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in aggregation.
  • At first, applicants have to register for TNEA counselling based on 10+2 scores. Then, Anna University will prepare the TNEA merit list.

Trichy Engineering College ME admission:

  • TCE provides Masters in Engineering (ME) program under six various specializations. This is a full-time on-campus course with a spread of 2 years and four semesters.
  • Candidates aspiring to take admission in ME courses at TCE have to undertake entrance exams conducted by Anna University, TANCET.
  • Candidates are also required to have BE or B.Tech Degree in a relevant stream from any recognized university. Candidates must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in aggregation.

Eligibility criteria for B.Tech at Trichy Engineering College: 

  • Student should have minimum 50% marks in aggregate for admission in engineering.
  • Student should have a valid score in entrance examinations TNEA.
  • Student can apply online/offline with the necessary details for the admission. 
  • Fee structure for the course is approximately INR 280000/- for the complete course.
