Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth came under the category of the deemed university and was started by the year 1921. This institute is in Pune, Maharashtra, and shorty termed TMV. This is a public institute that is approved by AICTE and got accredited by the NAAC. This college closely offers 52 undergraduate, postgraduate, and research level programs.   • Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth admission to the UG courses shall be made according to the basic eligibility and the merit obtained by candidates in the previous qualifying examinations.
  • The selection of candidates for both UG and PG courses would be made based on the entrance exam conducted by the University.
  • The eligibility for the B.A, B.Lib, BBA, B.Com, and B.J course should be Higher Secondary exam, or any equivalent examination should be passed, particularly in relevant specializations. Candidates should have secured at least 40% marks in aggregate for being eligible for the BBA course.
  • For being eligible for the LLB or B.Ed course, one must have completed Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • TMV, Pune admission to courses such as BCA in Game development and Computer Science should have cleared 12th with a minimum of 50% marks. For B.Sc. in Nursing, one should have passed 12th with 45% marks in the science stream, and English should be one of the subjects.
  • Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth application form will be available at the university admission office, and on paying the application form, one can obtain the form.

Tilak Maharashtra University Application Process

Candidates must complete the Tilak Maharashtra University application forms found at the university's office. For PG courses, the application fee is INR 500, and for research courses, it is INR 1000. The application fees must be deposited via RHGS/ NEFT in any of the following bank branches. After transferring the fees, the applicants must send an email to the accounts department. So, the application process of TMU will be held offline mode.

No entrance is needed for BBM/ BBA admissions at Tilak Maharashtra University. Admissions are based on academic merit in the qualifying exam.

Is there any entrance exam required for BCA admissions at TMU?

The BCA program is a 3 years course at the UG level. BCA is available in the General and Cyber Security disciplines. Applicants must have passed 10+2 in mathematics and can apply for admission to BCA. No entrance exam is required for the selection process.

The minimum eligibility criteria for the BCA program at TMU is to have completed their 10th and 12th board exams in the science stream with a min of 50% aggregate scores. The selections will be based on an entrance exam that the University conducts.

The mode of application for TMV MBA admission is online. The students must visit the college website and submit the form with the required details, docs, and fee payment.  

Can I get direct admission for LLB 3 YEARS

TMU offers admission to the LLB course based on the performance in the University based entrance test. Thus, it is a mandatory criterion for all LLB admission seekers to sit for TMU Entrance Exam. Selection is purely based on entrance test merit. There is no possibility of direct admission in Tilak Maharashtra University.
