M.B.B.S

Admission MBBS  Course

  • Admission of each month and every year - 1st June to 30th September.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidate must have individually passed English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology.
  • Percentage Criteria:

(a) O.C.: -

  • Candidates should have secure Aggregate should not be less than 140 out of 200
  • Candidates should have secure at least Minimum of 60% of marks in Biology or Botany & Zoology taken together.
  • Candidates should have secure 60% of marks in each subject viz., Physics and Chemistry.

(b) B.C.: -

  • Candidates should have secure Aggregate should not be less than 130 out of 200
  • Candidates should have secure at least Minimum of 60% of marks in Biology or Botany & Zoology taken together.
  • Candidates should have secure 60% of marks in each subject viz., Physics and Chemistry.

(c) M.B.C.: -

  • Candidates should have secure Aggregate should not be less than 120 out of 200
  • Candidates should have secure at least Minimum of 55% of marks in Biology or Botany & Zoology taken together.
  • Candidates should have secure 55% of marks in each subject viz., Physics and Chemistry.

(d) SC/ST: -

  • Candidates should have secure Aggregate should not be less than 80 out of 200
  • Candidates should have secure at least Minimum of 40% of marks in Biology or Botany & Zoology taken together.
  • Candidates should have secure 40% of marks in each subject viz., Physics and Chemistry.                                              

B.D.S

Admission BDS Course

  • Admission of each month and every year - 1st June to 30th September.

Eligibility Criteria

  • A candidate must have passed in the subject of Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology and English individually
  • Percentage Criteria: A Candidate must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Biotechnology at the qualifying exam..The minimum marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Biotechnology taken together in qualifying examination shall be 40%, For other Backward Classes and Scheduled Tribes.

Q. What are the documents needed on the time of admission in M.B.B.S Courses ?

Ans. Candidate has to furnish the following documents in ORIGINAL and one set of Xerox copies for issue of Eligibility Certificate along with the Eligibility Application Form:

A) Statement of Marks of Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (+2 Course of Equivalent Examination).

B) Transfer Certificate.

C) Fee of Rs.1,400/-

For admission into any courses in this college, it is mandatory that candidate must have Indian citizenship, and must have completed the age of 17 on or before appearing for the exam. For admission into under graduation courses like BDS it is compulsory that candidate must have passed 12th with minimum aggregate marks of 50% from a recognised board with physics, chemistry, biology and English as the compulsory subject. In addition to this it is also mandatory that candidate must have appeared for NEET entrance exam and must have secured valid score as per the cut off marks. NEET exam is mostly conducted via online mode in the month of May and is all India level entrance exams.

Candidate need to have finished 12th class in science stream securing more than 50% aggregate will be the eligibility. While on basis of NEET score MBBS admissions to The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University will be offered.

Is there any direct admission in the university

Since this is a state university the admissions are done through academic merit or entrance score basis there is no direct admissions offered to The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University for any course.

Hi, the fee for B.Sc. is affordable and not so high it is INR 6K in total which can be settled yearly wise too.

Hi, the applications are issued from the month of Jan and selection of the candidate takes place through entrance that is conducted by the university. Applications are available online and candidates need to fill it through official website and proceed with the admission process.
