Thapar University was established in 1956 in Patiala by Karam Chand Thapar. Recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC), it was set up to enhance their academic and research programs under the national needs and global development. Thapar University offers degree programs approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and is spread across 250 acres of land. It has a campus with a modern infrastructure. Thapar University, School of Physics and Materials Science, was ranked 801-1000 within the world by the day's education World University Rankings of 2018. The School of Physics & Material Science offers MSc at the PG level.
Thapar University, School of Physics and Material Science M. Sc. Admission

Students must meet the qualifying needs established by the institution before enrollment to be admitted to the Thapar University's School of Physics & Material Science for M. Sc program. The annual intake for MSc is 40 seats.

  • MSc at TU-SPMS is available in major subjects. The course duration is two years. Candidates who have done their UG degree BSc in concerned disciplines can apply for MSc admission at Thapar University's SPMS.
  • The candidates will be selected based on the student's performance in academic merit in the qualifying exam.

Hi Rifat,

Thapar University, School of Physics & Materials Science Date of offline entrance test will be on June 25 2017. And results will be declared on July 4 2017.

i have got 59 in jee 2017 may i get eligible for your university

Eligibility required for admission in Thapar University, School of Physics & Materials Science:

  • Candidate should have passed 12th examw ith at least 60% marks
  • And should have secured at least 20% aggregate marks(15% for SC/ST) in JEE-MAINS 2017

The admission shall be made on the basis of merit scored in JEE-MAINS 2017.

Last date to apply for B.E./B.TECH program has been extended to May 15,2017
