Thanjavur Medical College Admission for MBBS basically includes the following criteria: 1. The candidate should be of min. 17 years of age. 2. The candidate should have passed their 10+2 or an equivalent in science stream with physics, chemistry and biology as their majors having secured a min. of 50% average marks collectively from a recognized institute approved by the AICTE. 3. The candidate should also write the NEET UG entrance exam and secure a valid score. For those, looking to seek direct admissions will have to fill the criteria 1 & 2 mandatorily. Also, there’s a 10% cut off for reserved category students on the average marks to be secured.

Thanjavur Medical College is a government institution which offers UG & PG courses in medical studies, admission into which is offered through entrance examinations only. Aspirants seeking to take admission must appear for NEET entrance exam which is conducted every year in the month of May. NEET application form can be filled online through the official website and the application fee is 1,500 for general/OBC and 800 for SC/ST. For admission it is also mandatory that student must have passed 12th with PCB as the compulsory subject with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved category) from a recognised board.

TMC will consider 10+2 with NEET scores for MBBS admissions. Thanjavur Medical College NEET cut-off for the MBBS program is 1020.

Medical aspirants must have passed 10+2 with science subjects like PCMB as mandatory. Thanjavur Medical College's cut-off for MBBS through NEET is 8386.
