TIMSR is one among the Top 10 Best Business Schools of India, and it was established in 2002; TIMSR enrols eligible students for two programs, MMS and MBA. Getting admission in TIMSR is based on performance in the entrance test, and its application process is online. Following are the criteria for admission at TIMSR:

  • Admission to MMS at TIMSR depends on the score of the Common Entrance Test.
  • Marketing and Finance Management are the two courses offered by the college.
  • The performance of candidates in personal interview round and their work experience decide admission to the Executive program.
  • 15% of seats are reserved for candidates who attended MAH MBA or MMS CET Exam. Counselling is the final stage of selection.
  • Students can apply for a scholarship which is as per the guidelines of college administration.

Thakur Institute of Management Studies and Research MMS Admission

  • It is a must for a student to have a graduation degree with a 50% score or more. Candidates with 45% aggregate and from SC/ST or persons with PWD from Maharashtra can apply for MMS admission at TIMSR.
  • All candidates qualify in the CET that is MAH-MBA/ MMS-CET conducted by DTE and CMAT by AICTE.
  • Selection criteria for MMS at TIMSR is based on the score on entrance tests and counselling.
  • Applicants from different colleges/universities must have a migration certificate, mark sheet, and passing certificate of graduation in original to the UOM.
  • Candidates from Maharashtra must have their domicile certificate as well.

MBA at TIMSR is a Part-Time degree and helps a candidate continue to work full time and still build up educational qualifications. The institute provides MBA in two disciplines, Financial Management and Marketing Management.

The industry connection and placement cell is too good that the institute has maintained such a good relationship. Where guest lectures, training and other programs are held through which every student would be able to gain knowledge and could crack interviews easily. Thakur Institute of Management Studies and Research PGDM admissions can be taken by having the eligibility like marks in graduation and score of entrance exam also interview round will be held where even it has got the weightage. Then we can fill the PGDM admission form in the offline mode that is in the college admission office proceeding to confirm the seats.

How can I get a seat in the MBA program at TIMSR?

TIMSR offers MMS and PGDM programs at the PG level in the management stream that is similar to the MBA course outcome. The selections will be based on graduation degree followed by CAT or MAHCET scores. The accepted cut-off through MAHCET is 94.87.

There is no EMBA program offered at TIMSR. The available programs at the institute are MMS, MBA, and PGDM in relevant disciplines.

Candidates seeking admission to Thakur Institute of Management Studies and Research for MMS should be Graduate of minimum three years duration in any discipline securing not less than 45% aggregate of marks. Aspirants should have appeared for the Common Entrance Test like MAH MBA or MMS MBA/CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT etc. based on entrance exam score counselling will be done further seats will be offered.

MAHCET cut-off for MMS is 108
