For Symbiosis MBA in Operation Management admission, candidates must hold a degree from a known college with a min of 50% marks. The Candidate also needs to take the SNAP test.

SIOM Nashik MBA Operation Management Admission

The MBA in Operations Management is specifically created for engineers to address the need for operations understanding and skills across a range of economic sectors, including:

The flagship program is the PGDM in Operations Management. Its syllabus is highly comprehensive and includes subjects such as SCM, Quality Management, Project Management, Modelling Dynamic Systems, and Transport and Logistics. 

Symbiosis Institute of Operation Management MBA Eligibility Criteria

The students must meet distinct needs to apply for the program.

  • The applicant must have graduated with at least 50% (45% for SC/ST candidates) from a recognized university (BE/BTech of any stream).
  • Final year students are also eligible to apply for the course, but admission is based on the qualifying marks after the exams, i.e., 50% min (45A% for SC/ST).
  • Applicants must get an equal certificate from AIU if they have completed their needs at any foreign university.

Symbiosis MBA in Operations Management Selection Process

The SNAP score will be used to select admission to the MBA Operations Management program offered by SIOM, followed by WAT, GE, and PI. In addition, the following stages are present in the SIOM selection process:

  • Written Assessment Test (WAT): Shortlisted candidates will have 10 minutes to complete a written test, essay, or topical write-up. Their written communication abilities, including language, grammar, presentation, and topic, will be evaluated for ten marks.
  • Group Exercise: At stage 2, candidates must execute an activity or exercise in groups within a set amount of time. Their problem-solving, teamwork, and communication capacity will be tested for 30 points.
  • Eligibility Document Verification - The docs of qualified candidates will be checked at this stage. The call letter for the interview instructs applicants to come with original docs relevant to the info provided on their application form, including education and achievements.
  • Personal Interview - In this process, the interviewers will take a face-to-face interview. This stage carries 60 marks.

SIOM Nashik MBA Agri-Operation Management Admission

The MBA in Agri-Operations Management was created to address the demands for operational experience and capabilities in the agricultural and related industries, including technology, retailing, consulting, and e-commerce. Due to the technology revolution, global norms, and growing competition, a huge demand is there for professional courses in Agri management. Therefore, the objective of the course is:

  • To develop in the students a thorough strategic news of operations systems, their elements, contributions, and connections with agribusiness and other functional domains.
  • To give knowledge of business management to students with a focus on agricultural operations.

Eligibility/Selection Criteria

  • UG course from a good university with a minimum grade of 50%.
  • Admission is based on SNAP results, a written ability test, a PI, and a group exercise (GE-PIWAT).
  • The course admission is merit-based. A UG Degree with 50% as the minimum mark from an accredited university.

Know about the SNAP Exam Pattern

Candidates have to pass the SNAP Test to get a seat in the college component institutes. The test is a national exam that enables admission to 15 of the best management schools. Students must apply for and pass the SNAP Test to be eligible to enter the MBA programs at the Institute.

SNAP test comprises 4 main sections. These include Quantitative Aptitude, English, logical reasoning, and personal interaction. Each section has a certain number of questions. If they cannot answer all of them, they will get a negative marking of 25%.

  • Go to the official website of the College (www.siom.in).
  • Tap the MBA Operations option and go to the SNAP test.
  • A new page will open up for SNAP online registration.
  • Students can also directly go to the website snaptest.org to register.
  • Fill out the form completely with all the required details.
  • Upload passport-size photos.
  • Deposit the fees via net banking or DD in favour of the Institute, payable at Pune.
  • The payment should be made in DD for offline applications.
  • Take the print of the application form and fill it out manually.
  • Post the form with all the needed docs and pay the fees in DD in the name of the College.

From last year survey MAT cut-off is 450 and candidates with graduation certificate along with MAT/SNAP or other entrance exam score proceeded GD,PI & WAT performance, can seek Symbiosis Institute of Operations Management Admissions.
