Symbiosis MBA in ITBM is a specialized MBA program offered by SIU. This program equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in IT. It is a two-year, full-time residential program.

SCIT Pune Executive MBA Admission

The Symbiosis Executive MBA in IT program is designed with several key objectives in mind. Firstly, it aims to develop managerial competence tailored for leadership positions within the IT sector. Additionally, it seeks to cultivate a global mindset and entrepreneurial skills among its students. The program adopts a modular approach to its design, ensuring that the syllabus is well-structured and comprehensive. The annual intake for EMBA is 40 students.

EMBA Duration: The program spans 30 months and is conducted on weekends, specifically Saturdays and Sundays. The classes are conducted in a blended mode, combining online and offline factors. The offline classes take place at the SCIT campus located in Hinjawadi.

SCIT Pune Executive MBA Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for this program, candidates should hold a UG degree from any faculty of a recognized university in India or a foreign university with a min of 50% marks at the degree. Additionally, candidates must have 2 years of full-time work experience, preferably in the IT field, as of May.

The program includes a strong emphasis on developing consulting and leadership skills, project management, strategic IT management, marketing within the IT field, and management. It follows a modular approach to program design, offering flexibility to students. The final project can be undertaken in any niche area of IT.

The correction steps combine external and internal evaluation, with 8 credits exclusively reserved for internal evaluation. Each credit agrees to 15 teaching hours and is tested for 50 marks. Internal tests account for 60% of the total marks, while external tests contribute 40%. Internal courses are checked entirely by the respective institutes.

After completing all 4 semesters and the project, candidates are awarded the Symbiosis Part-time Executive MBA IT degree. A minimum CGPA of 4.0 is required to be eligible for this degree.

SCIT Pune Executive MBA Selection Criteria

• The selection process for admission will primarily be based on a PI.
• Based on their profiles, shortlisted applicants will be invited for the selection process, which will take place at SCIT in Pune. The list of eligible entrants will be announced on the SCIT website (www.scit.edu) according to the scheduled dates.
• Please note that individual regret letters will not be sent to applicants not selected for PI. The entire process will be conducted in Pune.
