NMIMS Hyderabad Course Admission

NMIMS Hyderabad offers a variety of programs. These include the two-year MBA, Executive PGDM, and undergraduate courses like BBA, B. Com, and B.Sc. (Applied Science & Analytics).

  • To be admitted to the NMIMS Hyderabad MBA program, candidates need a Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks. They must also pass the NMAT by GMAC and participate in Case Discussion and Personal Interview rounds.
  • To join the NMIMS Hyderabad Executive MBA equivalent PGDM program, you need at least 3 years of work experience or 2 years after post-graduation. They choose students based on eligibility and a Personal Interview.

NMIMS Hyderabad UG Admission Process

SVKM's NMIMS conducts an annual UG Entrance Examination for students who have completed or are currently in class XII. This exam allows you to qualify for many NMIMS UG Courses. The test is taken on a computer at specific centres.

  • NMIMS Entrance Exam for UG Courses includes NMIMS-NPAT, NMIMS-CET, and NMIMS-LPAT. Candidates should carefully read and understand all instructions before registering for the examination.
  • Candidates must have finished their 10+2 or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.
  • A minimum of 50% aggregate marks is mandatory for admission.
  • Mathematics or Statistics is a compulsory subject for all campuses.

At the PG level, NMIMS offers admission to the flagship program MBA and Executive PGDM. The eligibility criteria vary for specific streams.

MBA Pharmaceutical Management:

  • Bachelor's Degree/Master's in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Bioengineering, B. Tech, or BE in Bio-Tech or Bio-Medical.
  • Minimum 50% marks in the aggregate.

MBA Business Analytics:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Commerce, or Economics.
  • Minimum 50% marks in the aggregate.
  • Mathematics or Statistics is a compulsory subject.

MBA Digital Transformation:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Any stream), MCA, B.Sc.
  • Minimum 50% marks in the aggregate.
  • Mathematics is a compulsory subject.

MBA General and HR:

  • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum 50% marks in the aggregate.

Executive PGDM:

  • Bachelor's Degree with min 1 to 2 years of work experience
  • Minimum 50% in aggregate.

Selection criteria:

  • The selection process for the MBA program at NMIMS Hyderabad relies primarily on NMAT by GMAC scores.
  • To select candidates, they use a multi-step process. First, they evaluate NMAT scores. Then, they administer a Written Analytic Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).
  • NMIMS only uses the scores from the first round to select candidates for the CD-PI round. The MBA program at NMIMS Hyderabad has a highly competitive acceptance rate of less than 1% each year.

NMIMS offers a 20-month Executive PGDM program with a total enrolment of 120 students. Graduates need to have a track record of academic and professional success. After graduation, candidates must have a minimum of three years of work experience. If not, a minimum of two years of work experience following graduation is required. Eligibility, job experience, and merit in the qualifying examination are used to choose candidates for the Executive PGDM admission at NMIMS. The Panel conducts a Personal Interview to make the final selection of candidates.
