Surya Engineering College (SEC) is a self-financed engineering college located in Erode, Tamil Nadu. Founded in 2008 by the Sri Andavar Educational and Charitable Trust, the college is spread through a vast 20 acres. SEC takes pride in its excellent team of educated and talented faculty members and staff that provide excellent education to their students.

  • The college offers UG-level courses like B. Tech in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electricals & Electronics Engineering, and Communication Engineering.
  • SEC also offers PG-level courses like M. Tech as well as MBA in various specializations.

Surya Engineering College B. Tech Admission

  • Candidates seeking admission to the B. Tech course at SEC should have passed their 12th standard of Tamil Nadu HSC with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
  • Candidates have to obtain a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 to get admission and TNEA Counselling.
  • After the declaration of the 12th results, candidates must register online for TNEA based on 12th aggregate marks.
  • Candidates whose names enlisted in the merit list will be allowed to take part in TNEA Counselling conducted by Anna University,
  • Based on TNEA Rank and choice of preferences, seat allocation takes place.

Surya Engineering College M.Tech Admission

  • Surya Engineering College (SEC) offers PG-level courses to its students as well. PG-level courses include M. Tech. The annual intake is 18 seats, and it is available in four core specializations.
  • Candidates seeking admission to the M. Tech course at SEC should have a Bachelor’s Degree in BE or B. Tech with at least 50% marks as their minimum eligibility criteria.
  • In addition, they have to appear for a state-level entrance test that is TANCET and score well as per the cut off norms defined by the college.

Surya Engineering College MBA Admission

  • Surya Engineering College also offers a general MBA course to candidates seeking a degree in management studies.
  • Candidates who have completed their UG degree with 50% marks in any stream can apply for MBA admission in SEC.
  • In addition, they have to clear the entrance test that is TANCET with a good rank. After that, candidates will be shortlisted based on academic marks as well as TANCET scores.

Surya Engineering College Application Process
Admission in B. Tech, M. Tech, MBA course is done according to the guidelines prescribed by Anna University. The mode of application process/registration process is online.

  • For B Tech admission in SEC, applicants have to apply through TNEA counselling. Thus, applicants must fill up the TNEA application form online by logging into the respective website. Then, make the payment of INR 500 to complete the registration process.
  • While for M Tech and MBA admission, applicants have to sit for the TANCET entrance test. Thus, one must register for the entrance exam via online mode. After qualifying for the exam, students must undergo a counselling session.
